Usher in the Year of the Dog at Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall’s Lunar New Year celebrations! Wan Qing Festival of Spring 2018 presents an exciting line-up of festive offerings suitable for the young and old, including energetic Lion and Dragon dance performances, auspicious calligraphy, geomancy talks, and craft bazaars for the little ones. Toss to good fortune in a mass lohei session, challenge your friends in our Kampung Games, get your fortune predictions, enjoy an evening concert of contemporary and traditional performing arts, and more.

Our festive dog installations also promise to make for great photo-moments this Lunar New Year. Join us in celebrating this much-loved Chinese festival and learn more about the origins, customs and traditions behind Lunar New Year!

Activities are free unless otherwise stated.

Auspicious Lion & Dragon Dance Performance

Revel in the festivities and usher in the Lunar New Year at the Memorial Hall with an exciting lion dance performance! Don’t forget to witness the majestic dragon dance and rub shoulders with our God of Fortune for an auspicious year ahead.

Join visitors from all walks of life in the Memorial Hall’s first-ever mass outdoor lohei, and toss to bountiful luck and prosperity for the Lunar New Year!

Festival of Spring Family Telematch

Gear up for some family fun in our festive telematch! Four parent-child teams will get to compete in a series of interactive games, with plenty of prizes to be won.

Festival of Spring Activity Booths

Collect your activity passport at our Reception Desk and try your hand at our activities booths to win a mystery prize! Activities are free and include fortune-telling, DIY Chinese calligraphy, traditional kampung games, popcorn, candyfloss, and a roving God of Fortune!

Playtime with Pups (Action for Singapore Dogs)

SYSNMH is proud to join hands with ASD to present a line-up of enriching programmes suitable for all ages, including an interactive puppy play-pen for animal lovers. Meet and mingle with rescued pups and learn how you can help them at the ASD booth!
