Friends of the Museums (FOM)
Friends of the Museums, Singapore (FOM) is a non-profit society which provides members with opportunities to learn, share and experience Asian art, history and culture through myriad activities.
We also support Singapore museums and heritage-related organisations with volunteer guides and docents, for whom we provide well-developed FOM museum docent training specific to each establishment. For the professionalism and efforts of our volunteers, FOM has been consistently recognised as a Supporter at the Patron of Heritage Awards presented by the NHB.

Museum Volunteers (MV)
The Museum Volunteers (MV) is a group of English volunteer guides. MV provides free weekend public tours in English at various National Heritage Board museums and heritage institutions in Singapore. MV also supports NHB programs including Heritage Trails, Singapore Biennale and the training of new guides for Singapore's very first Community Gallery.

Mandarin Docents (MD)
The Mandarin Docents (MD) is a group of Mandarin volunteer guides. MD provides free weekend public tours in Mandarin at various National Heritage Board museums and heritage institutions in Singapore. In conjunction with NHB’s heritage activities, MD has enabled more Chinese speaking visitors to learn more about the history, culture, and heritage of Singapore.
